Fish feed production process
The production of nutrient-rich pellets used to feed farmed fish in aquaculture involves formulating feed with balanced ingredients such as proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals to support the growth and health of the fish. The raw materials are mixed, ground into fine particles and then processed via extrusion or pelletizing machines to form uniform pellets. These pellets are dried, cooled and sometimes coated with oils or other additives to improve their nutritional value and palatability. Advanced production methods prioritize efficiency, sustainability and reduced environmental impact by optimizing the use of resources and minimizing waste.
