
In the world of pellet production, the technical assistance service has become a fundamental element for the correct functioning of the machines and pelleting plant and for obtaining a high quality finished product.
The pellet production process is very complex and requires knowledge, know-how and experience. The machines and components inserted in the process operate precisely and require various types of assistance.
The various forms of assistance that La Meccanica offers are:

- Ordinary maintenance groups together all those daily or weekly activities that can be done by an unqualified general mechanic but must follow specific instructions.
By extraordinary maintenance, we mean those activities (programmable or in emergencies) that can only be carried out by experienced technical personnel who:
- knows the machine and can disassemble and reassemble all the components
- can make an analysis and diagnosis of technical problems
- can choose the best solutions to solve problems even in cases of operational difficulty
- knows all the typical steps for overhauling the machines
Refurbishment of rollers
The rollers are dismantled from the pellet press and the state of wear is analyzed after careful cleaning.
Subsequently, the rollers are reassembled with the replacement of all parts that showed a level of wear that did not allow excellent performance
Refurbishment of dies
This refers to the activity of cleaning the holes, surface grinding, re-countersinking of the holes.
The dies are subjected to dimensional checks to evaluate whether their revision is appropriate.
If it is deemed convenient to proceed with the revision of the die, it is positioned in a specially equipped workstation to bring the perforated surface back to its origin.
Subsequently, the die passes to the cleaning station to remove any ferrous material from the holes or even proceed with complete cleaning of the same, hole by hole. Finally, all the holes in the die are re-flared.
Machine training
These are those activities that La Meccanica carries out during testing (or for specific training activities) with its experienced technical staff.
Pre and After-sales assistance
Pre-sales assistance is a service that offers an answer to technical questions asked by potential customers by our experienced technical staff, who know the grinding, mixing and dicing processes and can carry out an analysis and diagnosis of the technical problems based on the data provided.
